How to judge a tipster
Profit isn't everything: what to look for before you subscribe.

Every tip on this site is posted before the event, at a live market price, and locked at kick-off. That makes the records trustworthy — but you still need to read them well.
- Sample size: under 100 tips, luck dominates. Look for several hundred.
- ROI / yield: profit divided by total staked. 5–10% over a large sample is excellent.
- Average odds: higher odds mean more variance — expect longer losing runs.
- Max drawdown: could you stomach it?
- Consistency: check the monthly P/L chart. One huge month carrying the record is a warning sign.
- Price achievability: very short-lived prices or obscure bookmakers can be hard to match.
Past performance does not guarantee future results. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
